What are KBytes, or Kilobytes, transferred?

A KByte (KB) is 1024 bytes (1 Kilobyte). This is used to show the amount of data that was transfered between the server and the remote machine, based on the data found in the server log.

In general, this should be a fairly accurate representation of the amount of outgoing traffic the server had, regardless of the web servers reporting quirks.
