What do the "Where Do You Want Spam To Go?" options mean in the spam settings?

Posted by Daniel on May 29, 2007

When deciding where to deliver spam messages, the Inbox is the main incoming mailbox folder for each respective email acount. Redirecting to the Catch-All Spam folder will send all spam to one main spam folder on the hosting account that can only be accessed by the Slamdot account owner. Sending to the Email User's Spam folder will send all spam to the SpamAssassin spam folder created for each email user's account. Deleting the spam will keep it from ever going to a particular folder or mailbox; this is not advised due to possible false positives that could result in legit messages being dropped. It's best to send spam to a folder and sort through it regularly.
