How do I set a catch-all email address?

Posted by Daniel on April 22, 2006

When the server receives email to addresses that don't exist, it has to do something with those messages. Your Slamdot account allows you to choose from three options to handle such messages:

  1. Server deletes message and notifies sender that the address doesn't exist
  2. Server deletes message without notifying sender
  3. Server forwards the message to a valid email address

To set the option of your choice, choose a plan from the dashboard. Click the email tab and click the catch-all link. Select the method of handling undeliverable email and save your changes.
